It unlocks the nanny's direct phone number and email, for both sides — nothing more, and nothing less. It doesn't guarantee the nanny will accept you, remain available, or that a placement will follow.
What does the £100 placement fee cover?
Once you're ready to move forward with a nanny you've unlocked, the £100 placement fee covers our placement support package, hands-on assistance from our team, and the freedom to arrange interviews, trial days and employment terms directly with each other.
Can I message a nanny before paying?
Yes — as much as you like. Every conversation happens inside Nora's Lantern, and phone numbers, emails and social handles are automatically kept private until you unlock them, so you're free to get to know each other first.
Do nannies really pay nothing?
Nothing at all. Creating a profile, messaging families and getting hired are always free — nannies keep 100% of the rate they agree, and their contact details stay private until a family unlocks them.
